About this Event
Children are natural mathematicians and scientists. They push and pull toys, stack blocks, and fill and empty cups of water in the sensory table. This course will discuss the importance of math and science in an early childhood classroom, how children actively make sense of the world around them, and how asking open ended questions promote problem solving and challenge children’s mathematical thinking and reasoning. Participants will also receive resources to enhance their math and science materials in their classrooms.
Presented by Ruby Dillard, TA Practitioner
