San Antonio, TX (January 2, 2026)—Luminaria, a San Antonio-based arts nonprofit, announces its upcoming Pop-Up Art Gallery exhibition, 'More than a Label,' at The Aiden San Antonio Riverwalk. The show opens Friday, January 16, 2026, as a featured event during Dreamweek.
'More than a Label' explores identity, inviting artists to express what shapes them. The exhibit celebrates our diverse ancestral journeys and encourages visitors to discover the bonds that unite our community. Curated by Andrea V Rivas, Luminaria’s Fine Art Curator, the exhibition features work by local artists John Doe, Jane Smith, Alex Rivera, and Maria Lopez.
The Opening Night reception is during the 3FRI Art Walk, Friday, January 16, 2026, 6–8 pm. Highlights: San Antonio Street Art Initiative D.R.E.A.M Mural Arts District, The Aiden’s speakeasy lounge No Vacancy, and Beauty Haus’ Night Market at St. Paul Square. The exhibition is free and open to the public, 24/7, January 16–March 13, 2026. Each month, the Pop-Up Gallery unveils new works with 3rd Friday openings.
