More in Common Salford

Welcome to More in Common Salford! Join us for an evening of connection and community at Salford Watersports Centre on Tue, April 7th, at 6:00 PM (doors open at 5.40 pm). Let's come together to celebrate our shared values and build new friendships. This event is all about bringing people from different backgrounds together to show that we have more in common than we think. Each event will focus on a different theme.

February's theme is: Stories. Do you have a story to share about Salford's past or present? You might just have a funny or interesting story to share about a life event, travel or even an eventful trip to the supermarket. You might have a poem, story or film that has meaning for you that you want to share. You might have a photograph that tells a story, or even a poem that you have written. Whether related to Salford or just an interesting story in itself, by sharing and listening to each other's stories, we may just find that we have More in Common. There is no pressure to speak or share anything during the session, if you don't want to. You are more than welcome to come and listen to other participants' experiences.

Hot drinks, water and snacks will be provided.
