Thanks to Avon Community Services, Freestyle Now will be offering a FREE Skateboard, Scooter, and BMX coaching session.
Freestyle Now facilitators assess' skill levels and build from that foundation assisting with confidence building. Skills can be taught but confidence cannot. It is important to focus not only on skill building but also on confidence. By using their own skill base as a stepping stone, we help them advance. Our instructors communicate in the participants' language and at their level. They emphasize the importance of helmets and how they can minimize injuries. Freestyle Now squad members provide technical advice, trick tips, skill development and skatepark etiquette. Participants grouped based on their skills and learning requirements.
All participants need their own equipment and must wear a helmet and closed-in shoes Participants with defective equipment may not be able to participate. Our facilitators cannot make repairs participants' equipment during the session.
Key points:
- Coaching workshops are not suitable for 3-wheeled plastic.
- Participants must wear a helmet.
- Please bring water and wear sunscreen.
- Participants must be over the age of 6.
- Parents must stay on-site if their child is under 12.
- Please arrive 15 minutes early to register your attendance.

Participants under the age of 6 will be taken on their ability to understand and follow instructions and to control their apparatus.
Freestyle Now hosts many coaching workshop sessions throughout the year for various local governments, community organizations and private companies.
