Moonlight Tour of Dodge Island Cemetery

AHPS in conjunction with the Friends of the Ten Mile River Watershed will lead two tours of Dodge Island Cemetery at 6:30PM and 8:00PM - this is NOT a ghost tour!
Weather permitting, we will walk out to the Dodge Island Cemetery and learn some history of the Dodgeville Mill and Dodge family as well as the upkeep of this sacred place and waterway. Located at the halfway point of the Ten Mile River, the “island” has a short causeway accessible by an easement. The walkway is uneven, so please wear appropriate shoes and bring your own lantern/flashlight.
We will meet at the corner of South Main St. and Fisher Ave. (not street) in Attleboro. Please park legally and respectfully along the street. This is an easy, family friendly adventure into an area people rarely visit. By attending, you agree to do so at your own risk and that Friends of the Ten Mile River + Watershed Council and Attleboro Historic Preservation Society are not responsible for any injury or loss suffered as a result of taking part in this activity or travel to and from the event.
