About this Event
MOODBOARD and REACT (GSO) join forces to proudly present...
SIR HISS (PINEAPPLE RECORDS, BRISTOL, UK)
Sir Hiss is a Bristol born and based producer and DJ working at the intersection of grime, electro, and UK club music. His tracks carry a signature mix of sharp drum programming, unusual melodies (often pulled from unexpected places), and serious low-end weight. It’s a sound that’s landed him firmly on the radar of DJs and dancers alike.
Alongside his solo work, he runs No More Mailouts, a label focused on stripped-back, functional club music with an emphasis on bass and rhythm.
He’s played sets at some of the UK’s key festivals, including Glastonbury, Boomtown, Love Saves the Day, and Get On, and continues to build a reputation for high-energy, no-nonsense performances. His music regularly gets support from the likes of Ben UFO, Jyoty, and Sam Binga.
After nearly 2 years of finesse, Sir Hiss’s debut album Time Dilation was released to widespread acclaim on Sam Binga’s Pineapple Records at the end of 2025.
VELLE (20/20 LDN, DURHAM)
Natalie ‘VELLE’ Alston is a young talent whose productions mark the vanguard of progressive bass music. In addition to performing at ATL’s Define Everything Future, she’s had tracks featured on the esteemed Noisia Radio and released through forward-thinking labels such as Forest Biz, Locked Concept, Enter Vale, Overview, and most recently Ivy Lab’s 20/20 LDN.
Currently based in Durham, VELLE brings a technicality and deep emotional grit that places her among the forerunners of the next generation of electronic artists. Integrating fresh concepts from the spectrum of bass music into an array of original productions, she pushes genre limits while rediscovering and expressing herself anew with each release.
TANTŌ B2B FLEX ARIANI (REACT, GREENSBORO)
Architects of Greensboro's celebrated night REACT at ETC in collaboration with Party Illegal, TANTŌ and Flex Ariani are leading lights of North Carolina's underground landscape.
TANTŌ and his label No Deal Records have been making waves in the area for years, bringing a keen ear to their hardware performances and DJ sets alike. From tranquil, meandering ambient soundscapes to writhing acid basslines and blistering breakbeats, TANTŌ offers a unique take on timeless rave sounds.
Flex Ariani, founding member of Less Than Family collective and co-founder of Off The Grid, has been on a run of sharp releases the last few years. Bringing a musical palette influenced by trunk-rattling 808s as much as UK sound system styles, Flex's originals and collaborations with labelmate Lacy have made him one to watch in the world of contemporary UKG and bass music.
DJ DIAVLA (DURHAM)
A rising star of Durham's dance music scene, DJ Diavla serves up an intoxicating mix of dancefloor-focused styles from club to Amapiano, never failing to make the crowd move. A favorite at Party Illegal's Blends With Friends open decks, we're excited to welcome them for their MOODBOARD debut.
