E.M.E.R.G.E was formed to encourage those of us that have creative projects to work on them in community. Consider bringing a small project like sewing, knitting or crocheting or your art journal. Are you a papercrafter? Great! Bring your project box and soon you too will be Relaxing In Art!

Don’t have a project? No problem! Try the new + like Squiggle Time with local artist Bella Dearing.

Squiggle Time is a playful, mindful, and intuitive creative practice that invites you to make space for expression—without expectations or outcomes. Think of squiggles as spontaneous doodles: short, looping, curling lines that move in irregular ways. In this class, “squiggling” can mean drawing shapes, letting your pen wander, jotting down thoughts, capturing song lyrics stuck in your head—whatever flows in the moment.

You’ll use colorful pens, markers, crayons, paint, or whatever materials speak to you, and create freely without trying to make something look like anything. This is not about making art that’s “good” or “finished.” It’s about letting go, exploring, playing, reflecting, connecting, and expanding.

Join to squiggle your way into flow, curiosity, and creative freedom by following the guiding mantra of 🌀“Creation without Expectation!”🌀

Come out to meet folks, be creative, get it done.
