Join us on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. for a special screening of The Cameraman starring Buster Keaton and Marceline Day. Hear about how music is used to enhance silent films and watch the 1928 silent comedy with live piano accompaniment by pianist and historian Richard Hughes. The Cameraman is an action-packed romantic comedy about a wannabe news cameraman, played by Keaton. He falls head over heels for a pretty girl while trying to break into the business and encounters one slap-stick mishap after another chasing his goals. Tickets are free. Refreshments are available for a cash donation. All proceeds will go to benefit the Samuel Slater Experience. Runtime is approximately 70 minutes. Attendees will receive 10% off their order in the gift shop only during the hours of the event.
