ArtHouse East is an artist-run space and we are excited to host 2 separate casual and creative social Clay workshops with artist Michelle Cortez Gonzales and Humna Raza as the instructors.
We supply the materials, a curated music playlist, and a great vibe, so you can focus on good conversation and creative freedom. Mingle, learn from fellow crafters, and leave with a new skill. No experience required!
For the Halloween season, we're setting a chill and moody vibe with dim lights, dream pop & trip hop sounds. You'll learn the 'pinch pot' and 'slab-building' techniques to create a custom vessel. What we'll supply:
- Pottery tools
- 1 lb air-dry clay
- After-care glaze to take home
- accessories
CANCELLATIONS: To cancel or reschedule, email [email protected] at least 48 hours in advance. Due to material costs, tickets are refundable at 50% past the 48 hours.
FOOD & DRINK: We’ll have snacks out, and refreshments. You’re welcome to bring your own extras.
PETS: Pets aren’t allowed, but service animals are welcome.
