Tickets go on sale to the general public on Jun 15 at 10AM.
GRAMMY®‑nominated pianist Monty Alexander marks 65 years since leaving Jamaica with his vibrant blend of bebop, blues, calypso, reggae, and the American Songbook. Over a storied career, he has toured with jazz greats including Clark Terry, Dizzy Gillespie, Milt Jackson, Ray Brown, and Randy Weston; led some of the genre’s most celebrated trios and ensembles; and contributed to more than 75 recordings. A pioneer in blending Jamaican musical traditions with modern jazz, Alexander always aims, in his words, “to build up the heat and kick up a storm.”
“An outrageously good time.” –– The Wall Street Journal
