Montserrat is a stunning multi-peaked mountain range near Barcelona, part of the Catalan Pre-Coastal Range. Its unique rock formations, visible from afar, give it the name "Saw Mountain" (Montserrat in Catalan). The area is famous for the Benedictine Abbey of Santa Maria de Montserrat, home to the Black Madonna – an important cultural and religious icon in Catalonia.
