Monthly Wildlife Photo Walk with Kenmore Camera and Eastside Audubon
About this Event
Join Kenmore Camera and Eastside Audubon for a monthly wildlife photo walk. We will meet (on or around the 3rd Thursday of) each month, joined by Eastside Audubon member Chuck Guilford and Kenmore Camera staff member Emily Kiyomi Manson.
Let's meet in the parking lot of JUANITA BAY PARK to gather before heading out to see what wildlife we can spot. Please note that this is Juanita Bay Park - NOT Juanita Beach Park.
Bring a camera or binoculars to spot the nearby wildlife. Chuck Gulford is very familiar with Juanita Bay Park through his work with Eastside Audubon and knows where to go at different times of the year to spot birds and wildlife. Both Chuck and Emily are avid photographers and will be available for any gear questions you may have.
We look forward to creating a local community of wildlife lovers of all ages!
Accessibility - Mostly flat grass/pavement/boardwalk. Boardwalk and paved pathway are ADA accessible, but the grass field is not leveled or paved.
Parking Pass is not required
Restrooms are closed during the Winter, but there are normally portables during those months. The restrooms usually open shortly after the gates are opened, but not guaranteed so plan accordingly.
Cancellation Conditions such as weather, road or park closures can potentially impact this event. This is especially true during the Winter months. We will run with a light drizzle, but if the weather doesn't look conducive to enjoying the park, we will do our best to send out a notification 24 hours before via Eventbrite if we cancel.
