Due to time constraints, the next issue of our SPIKE & TIE newsletter has been delayed. So, if you are waiting on the newsletter to tell you what the November program is...well. there's the problem.

Then you would already know that our next Monthly Meeting FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6 - 7:30 to 9:30 PM - at the Gladys Fox Museum, 231 E 9th Street, Lockport, IL 60441-3403 will feature photos by the late John Riha and family of the last five years of the Rock Island, along with a look at some of what's gone on between Chicago and Joliet the past 45 years since the 1980 shutdown.
Then after intermission (where you can participate in our monthly raffle and fill yourself full of donuts and pizza), Michael Riha will show off some of his railfan photo exploits over the past year or so, including a real big steam locomotive and some crazy paint schemes. (So if you have to leave at halftime, don't feel bad...)
