This month we have invited Dr. Timothy Bradley to speak about “How Plants Communicate with Each Other”. Dr. Timothy Bradley is Professor Emeritus of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of California, Irvine. His area of expertise is the physiology and ecology of plants and animals. His presentation will cover recent advances in our understanding of communication between plants, combining his expertise with his love of gardening. The presentation will begin around 7:30 PM.
The meeting will take place on Monday, September 15th, starting at 6:30 p.m. with the Consulting Rosarian’s Corner, refreshments and the Little Rose Show. Exhibitors in the Little Rose Show can begin to stage their blooms at 6:00 p.m. Everyone please feel free to bring your blooms to exhibit. Experienced exhibitors will be available to help stage your blooms. The raffle table will be open for donated garden items. Raffle winners will be announced at the end of the meeting. Please bring a refreshment to share.

Directions to Casa del Prado, Room 101: The Casa del Prado building is immediately west of the Natural History Museum. Entrances to the Casa del Prado lead to an inner court. The rooms are accessible from the court. Room 101 is downstairs on the east end of the court.
