Join us for Monthly Matinee, our Saturday afternoon movie program for families! Each month we’ll feature a fun, family-friendly film perfect for kids and grown-ups to enjoy together. Bring your own snacks, get comfy, and relax with a great movie at the library. It’s the perfect way to spend a weekend afternoon. This month the featured flickis a 2007 movie with the voices of Jerry Seinfeld and Spike Feresten. In this film, Barry B. Benson, a bee just graduated from college, is disillusioned at his lone career choice: making honey. On a special trip outside the hive, Barry's life is saved by Vanessa, a florist in New York City. As their relationship blossoms, he discovers humans actually eat honey and subsequently decides to sue them. This film is rated PG for some mild suggestive humor, and a brief depiction of smoking, and has a run time of 1 hour and 31 minutes.
