Old members, new members, friends and neighbors are all invited to the social & 2013 Czech movie: “Cyril and Methodius: The Apostles of the Slavs”. Film is in Czech w/ English subtitles & will be shown in the Clubroom (back entrance).
No Cover Charge / Full Bar / Pizza, chicken strips, corn dogs, French fries, tater tots, cheese sticks, jalapeno poppers, bread pretzels, & snacks also for purchase at bar.
About the Film “Cyril and Methodius: The Apostles of the Slavs (Cyril a Metoděj - Apoštolové Slovanů)”, a historical docudrama:
The film portrays the 9th-century Byzantine Greek brothers Cyril and Methodius, who became missionaries and significantly influenced the cultural development of Great Moravia. The production includes both a four-part television series and a feature film, with the latter emphasizing the rivalry between Cyril and Methodius and the treacherous priest Eiben.
