There's nothing quite like spending a summer morning on the Colorado River with great people.
Whether you're an experienced paddler or stepping onto a paddleboard or kayak for the very first time, this is a fun, relaxed way to get outside, meet new people, and enjoy a beautiful morning on the water.
π Saturday, July 11
π’ Meet at 6:30 AM | Launch at 7:00 AM
π Dean Hackett Park Boat Launch πΆ Paddle to Veterans Memorial Park
This community event is open to everyone. Bring your paddleboard, kayak, family, or friends and enjoy an easy paddle down the river. β οΈ This is a public, self-guided community event. Participation is voluntary, and everyone attends at their own risk.
π Need a paddleboard? I have a limited number available to rent for $30. Message me for details.
π¦Ί Life jackets are required. Every participant must have a properly fitting U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket.
π Volunteers Needed We're looking for a few volunteers to help watch equipment at the launch and assist with shuttling paddlers back to their vehicles after the paddle. It takes all of us working together to make these events possible.
Afterward, we'll relax, visit, and enjoy the morning together.
There's no better way to beat the summer heat than floating the Colorado River with great people. πβοΈ
