Each ceremony will offer participants the opportunity to explore different themes and intentions, resulting in a richer, more profound experience. This sacred Tree medicine can open your heart, help you to heal past wounds, and illuminate the path toward gratitude and self-discovery. Mother Cacao embodies purity within us and unveils the best version of ourselves—an essence accessible to all. More than its enchanting qualities, Indigenous elders remind us that participating in a ceremony can harmonize our lives, aligning us with the greater cosmos and its wonders.
Modern cacao ceremonies are not replicas of ancient rituals, but expressions of a contemporary yearning to connect with this beautiful plant. How people in the past related to cacao does not overshadow our present cultural context and needs. Instead, today’s cacao ceremonies resonate with the ancient spirit of genuine connection, guidance, and learning from cacao itself. Theobroma Cacao, affectionately known as the “Food Of The Gods,” has such a rich and delightful legacy that’s still going strong today! Notably, the genus Theobroma has been around for more than 10 million years, making cacao one of the oldest trees in its family.
Cacao holds a special place in our hearts, with roots tracing back over 4,000 years and connecting the vibrant cultures of the Amazon and Mesoamerica. It’s treasured as a sacred symbol, woven into joyful celebrations, and plays an essential role in the beautiful tapestry of Indigenous beliefs.

NOTE: This sacred ceremony will take place on the floor. While yoga mats, regular chairs, and floor chairs will be available, we invite you to bring your favorite floor cushions, pillows, or anything else that will make you feel cozy.
