We will have a monthly theme where there will be a selection of books in a subject that we can talk about. This month’s theme is on books related to Energy Accounting, which is a system used to measure energy consumption of different activities on a regular basis, which can be helpful for autistic individuals.
This group will work differently to book clubs where they commonly choose a specific book to read and members will discuss that book at the same time. We know just how busy our families are so that's why we've decided that there will be no expectation to go away and read a full book, we will just have a selection of books out which are related to a monthly theme (this session will be around Energy Accounting) where we can talk about the books and give any recommendations around that topic. You are welcome to bring along any books that you would like to share too.
