Visit Hopton Hall, its rose gardens and café during the Month of Art from Thursday 4th July. The garden is open from 10:30 - 16:00 every Thursday to Sunday. Along with the 2km rose garden walk, Café Impromptu, has a 75 seat restaurant open in the grounds.
Hopton Hall is well known for its crinkle crankle wall, that inspired the Duchess of Devonshire to create Chatsworth Estate’s Serpentine Hedges in 1953. The garden features British and French roses that use the shelter of the crinkle crankle wall to create rich and fragrant scents.
We're inviting all 2D & 3D artists, both professional and amateur, to come and create artwork within the Hopton Hall grounds. Be inspired by our rose gardens and any other vantage point along the 2km visitor trail.
The winning artwork will be bought for £1,000 and be permanently displayed at one of our venues.
To take part in the Month of Art, register on our website.
