Montgomery / Adams

Valkarie Gallery presents Montgomery | Adams, a two-artist exhibition featuring distinct bodies of work by Michele Montgomery and Grant Adams, each inviting viewers to reconsider the familiar through a different lens.
Michele Montgomery explores the domestic landscape, transforming everyday objects and recognizable forms into unexpected works of art. Through sculpture and mixed media, she examines cultural norms, gender, and the relationships between form, function, and meaning.
Grant Adams explores the complexities and contradictions of American history through painting and pyrography (wood burning). As the nation approaches its 250th anniversary, his work challenges familiar narratives with dark humor, symbolism, and a thought-provoking look at American identity.
Two artists, two distinct perspectives, and an invitation to look beyond the surface.
