Join us for a guided walk from as we look at current street conditions, discuss what’s working, and identify opportunities to make Garvey Avenue safer, more accessible, and more inviting for people of all ages and abilities. See the full itinerary below.

A walk audit is a guided community walk where participants evaluate current street conditions and share real-time observations about safety, accessibility, and design.

During this approximately 1-mile walk (45-50 minutes at a comfortable pace), participants will:

• Learn about the City of Monterey Park’s Vision Zero Plan and Complete Streets Plan
• Identify barriers to safe walking and biking
• Highlight areas needing safety improvements
• Discuss design challenges and opportunities
• Share lived experiences that can directly inform future street improvements
