Remember back in the '80s when you had to rewind the movie cassettes? Join us for a summer lineup of legendary hits from our high school days. Experience the nostalgia with great energy and epic movies—it’s the perfect way to chill, laugh, and relive those iconic 80’s moments together. Plus, we’re raising funds for the MHS Class of '86 Scholarship to support graduating seniors. Popcorn is on us!
Our Second Feature: Trading Places
A movie that will never get old! Trading Places is a chaotic comedy about two insanely rich, elderly brothers who decide to ruin a man's life just to settle a one dollar bet. In 1983, this hilarious comedy spent 17 straight weeks in the top 10 and was the 4th highest grossing movie of the year.
Our Third Feature: Indiana Jones, Temple of Doom
Dust off your fedora, fortune and glory await! This wild, heart-pounding ride takes Indy from a treacherous banquet of chilled monkey brains straight into a chaotic maze of spike ceilings and runaway mine carts. Travel back to 1984 and be reminded of why the PG-13 rating was created for this massive worldwide smash, which ranked as the highest-grossing film internationally that year.

This ultimate feel-good comedy follows a brilliant high school slacker who fakes a sick day to pull off the most legendary, Ferrari-fueled day off in Chicago history. Released in 1986, this cultural phenomenon spent months charming audiences in theaters and stood as one of the top ten highest-grossing films of the year.
