Montana Youth Symphony 2026 Gala Concert

Sir Donald Runnicles and Maestro Gordon Johnson conduct the 2026 Montana Youth Symphony in a concert of Brahms, Sibelius, and Valian. The Montana Youth Orchestra comprises young talented musicians from Montana aged 16-25. Exceptionally talented high school musicians, undergraduate and graduate university students, and young professionals assemble to prepare a concert under the direction of Sir Runnicles and Maestro Gordon Johnson. This concert will include Sibelius' rousing ode to freedom, Finlandia, Brahms' triumphant and transformative Symphony No. 1 in C Minor, and the world-premiere of Summit by Missoula-based composer Chris Valian.
