We’re having a Monster Themed Halloween Art Night in collaboration with the Anderson Art Collaborative!
We’re going to be hosting a contest where local artists submit designs using the template and colors posted on Wednesday, October 1st, to [email protected], then we’re letting you, yes, you, vote on the artists who will be painting our garage doors!
Starting on October 24th, we’ll be running polls on our social media stories to vote for your favorite artist(s). Once the votes are tallied up, we’ll announce the winners from the online voting stage and have them come and set up in the taproom on Thursday, October 30th, from 6-9pm, to showcase their art. During this, all attendees will vote on the top three artists. Once the votes are tallied in person, we will announce the top 3 winners, who will each have the opportunity to paint 1 of our 3 garage doors.
The winners will start painting on Saturday, November 8th.
For artist submissions:
Please send your submissions to [email protected], along with your name, what city you live in, your design, a description of your design (inspiration, etc), and your level of artistic ability. Please note that any artist who submits a design and is selected as one of our 3 winners will have to physically paint 1 of our 3 garage doors (help can be provided by the AAC if needed). Age limit 16+, juniors and seniors in high school are highly encouraged to submit a design.
