Monster Squad: History of Halloween
Join the Squad as we celebrate our favorite holiday!
We will talk about the history of Halloween traditions, snacks, pranks, symbols, costumes, and more!
Who is the Jack-o-lantern named after? What is Cabbage Night? And exactly what games involving fire and fortune telling did kids used to play?
We've got the answers and we are dying to share with you!
Craft and snacks to follow.
Open to ages 6-12
+++
Any kids curious about the world of folklore, stories, mythology, and more should give us a try.
The Squad is all about the creatures of history, science, and pop culture, and how the unknown isn't quite so scary once you learn a bit about it.
