Monsoon Biodiversity Trail
This trail is a part of the WeNaturalists experience - our way of making climate action real, local, and lived. It`s your family`s excuse to step out, slow down, and see the forest beyond your city. Because nature deserves your attention, and your children deserve to grow up knowing what lies beyond the screen.
On this expert-led trail, you`ll get a first-hand look at how our precious ecosystems come alive during the rains.
From soil to sky, from the tiniest insect to tall canopies - everything is connected, and this trail shows you how.
What`s in it for you:
- A 2.5 to 3 hour guided nature walk that encourages curiosity and mindful observation.
- A wholesome, inclusive experience suitable for both children and adults, sparking a deeper connection with the natural world.

Getting there (important):
For Bombay Natural History Society CEC, Goregaon (E)
- Address - Film City, Goregaon East, Mumbai suburban, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400065
- Use only the Goregaon Film City Road to reach: BNHS CEC, Goregaon (East). Do not follow Google’s Sanjay Gandhi National Park route — it’ll lead you astray.
What to Carry:
- Footwear: Wear comfortable Crocs/ sandals/ shoes with a good grip (Compulsory).
- Rainwear: Carry a raincoat, in case it rains
- Hydration: Bring a water bottle (Compulsory).
- Clothing: Wear dull, full-sleeve clothes in shades like black, gray, or green. Camouflage clothing is encouraged to blend with the surroundings.
- Use mosquito repellent to avoid insect bites. (Compulsory)
- Carry personal medications, if any.
Trail Rules:
- Slippers/flip-flops are not allowed
- Long sleeves are recommended
- Reporting time for BNHS - 7:15 am, reach early, not to miss the trail briefings
- No spot registrations – only online booking
- Do not throw any garbage in the forest. Respect and preserve nature.
Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations made up to 48 hours before the event will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are not eligible for any refund.
