Our speaker: Professor Jennie Shorley

Professor Jennie Shorley is the Academic Director, Centre for Enterprise at Manchester Metropolitan University.

A strategic leader in innovation, knowledge exchange and business engagement, Jennie has designed and secured over £40 million in funding for transformative programmes that support SMEs locally, nationally and internationally.

Under her leadership, the Centre for Enterprise has supported more than 3,000 businesses since 2012 and attracted over £48 million in external funding. The Centre’s work focuses on translating academic research into practical action, with a strong emphasis on innovation, leadership and growth.
