It’s back-to-school season—and the perfect time to sharpen more than just pencils! Join us for Money Smarts 101, a fun and interactive financial literacy workshop designed for families with kids ages 13 and up.

Together with Credit Human, we’re helping families build strong financial foundations and healthy money habits just in time for the school year. Whether you’re talking about allowance, part-time jobs, budgeting, or saving for the future—this workshop is for YOU.

• Real Talk for Real Life: How to track spending, create a budget, and set financial goals as a family
• Teen Talk Money: Empowering youth to make smart money moves early
• Credit Confidence: What families need to know about credit cards, credit scores, and building good credit
• Smart School Spending: Tips for managing back-to-school expenses

Each family member writes 1 short-term and 1 long-term savings goal.
Calculate how much you’ll need and how long it’ll take based on current income.
Group brainstorm: How can we save smarter—together?

Learn the 5 parts of a credit score through an interactive game or sorting chart.
Play “Credit Choices”—a scenario game that shows how actions affect your score.

Info: Goal: Connect budgeting, saving, and credit to long-term homeownership dreams.
? In-Class Activity:
As a family, make a Dream Home Wish List: Location, bedrooms, yard, etc.
Discuss needs vs. wants and how they impact affordability.
