About this Event
Money, Lies, and God: An Evening with Katherine Stewart
What is Christian Nationalism, and why is it a threat to democracy and a detriment to the Christian church?
Join us for an evening with Katherine Stewart, a leading journalist and author exploring the rise of Christian Nationalism in the United States and beyond. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, The New Republic, and, most recently in Canada, on The Fifth Estate.
Christian Nationalism is not Christianity. It is a movement that co-opts Christian symbols and the good intentions of many believers to accumulate power and wealth for a select few. In her latest book, Money, Lies, and God, Stewart unpacks the dangerous fusion of politics, religion, and money that is shaping our current political and cultural climate.
