Step into the garden of Claude Monet! This month, our Homeschool Art History Lab explores the world of the French Impressionists. We’ll learn how to "paint with light" by studying Monet’s famous water lilies and bridges. Young artists will experiment with watercolor resist and "dab and dash" brush techniques to create their own atmospheric pond masterpieces. We’ll begin with a short storytime featuring The Magical Garden of Claude Monet followed by a hands-on studio session.Homeschool Hub offers homeschooling students and caregivers a monthly enrichment activity. The activities are geared toward grades K-5th grade. Older students are welcome to hang out in the teen area where computers, puzzles, and teen coloring pages are available.
