The Pinballz Monday League is back for Season 2! Join us at The Original Pinballz Arcade for six weeks of competitive pinball and friendly competition. Whether you have never played in a league before or you are a seasoned competitor, the Pinballz Monday League is open to players of all experience levels. It is a great way to sharpen your skills, meet fellow pinball fans, and enjoy a welcoming arcade community.
New to league play? No problem. The format is easy to pick up and the community is welcoming to newcomers. Plus, your two lowest weekly scores are dropped from your total, so even if you miss a week or two, you can still stay competitive and make the finals.
Want even more pinball? We also run the Pinballz Sunday League with the same format on Sundays at 4:00 PM. You can join one or both leagues.
How the League Works:
The Pinballz Monday League – Season 2 runs for seven weeks total: six qualifying weeks followed by a finals night. Here is a quick overview of how it all comes together.
Weekly Qualifying Rounds (Weeks 1 through 6):
Each league night, you will be placed into a group of 4 players and compete head to head on a selection of pinball machines. After each game, you earn points based on where you finish in your group.
- Point System: 1st place = 7 points, 2nd = 5 points, 3rd = 3 points, 4th = 1 point.
- Swiss Style Pairing: After each round, groups are reshuffled based on the current standings so you are always playing against people near your skill level.
- Score Drops: Your two lowest weekly scores are dropped from your qualifying total. This means if you have an off night or need to miss a week or two, it will not knock you out of the running.
- Top Players Advance: The highest ranked players after qualifying move on to the finals.
Double Elimination Finals (Week 7):
The top qualifying players advance to a timed double elimination knockout tournament to crown the league champion.
- Head to Head Matches: Players compete one on one on selected machines.
- Strikes: The player with the lower score receives a strike.
- Eliminations: Two strikes and you are out.
- Prize Pool: The top 3 finishers earn a share of the league prize pool.
IFPA Certified:
These league nights are IFPA certified events, which means your results count toward official pinball player rankings. All league play follows IFPA player conduct rules.

- League Nights: Every Monday, August 3rd through September 14th, 2026
- Time: 7:30 PM
- Location: The Original Pinballz Arcade
- Address: 8940 Research Blvd, Austin, TX 78758
- Weekly Admission: $10 per week (covers gameplay, prize pool contribution, and IFPA sanctioning fees)
Tickets are required for each week you attend. You do not need to commit to all seven weeks upfront.
