Partners tournament style euchre (same partner throughout the tournament). If you dont have a partner to bring, there should be others that need one (but no guarantee). Get together with old friends and make a new ones. One thing we all have in common is our love of euchre. This is a fast-paced game night for those that already know how to play euchre.
Come early (6-6:30ish) to complete the registration. Please also consider coming even earlier to eat! Jimmy B's allows us to use their private room for free each week so we need to support their business by ordering food and drinks. If you come early to eat and drink and socialize, please tell the host to direct you to the euchre room. We will have a server taking care of us before and during the tournament (and don't forget to leave him/her a tip!).
Please RSVP and cancel if you sign up and then cannot attend. Please note that there are times when other players may show up that have not RSVP'd through meetup, so total number of players on Meetup is often not accurate or up to date.
*If you have not RSVP'd through Meetup, Facebook, or contacted me (513-673-3158) that you will be there, you may not get to play.
TOURNAMENT COST: $20 ($10 per player)
Prize money will be split between the top 3 teams with the most points. Typically, the payout is 1st Place 60%, 2nd Place 30%, 3rd Place 10%. This can vary based on number of teams or ties.
BRING QUARTERS!
Each player on a team that gets euchred must put 25 cents in the euchre cup at the table.

All quarters collected from the cups will be tallied and 1st place team will draw 2 teams (teams that did not place) to split the total amount of the quarters.
GENERAL RULES AND GUIDELINES
HAVE FUN!
Each round will consist of 4 players (2 teams) playing at each table. We will play 8 rounds.
Assignments for each round will go by the seating chart that is based on total number of teams. Each player deals twice.
Play is S.T.D. (stick the dealer) after 7 consecutive PASSES in a hand the dealer HAS to call trump.
Misdeals are redealt by the dealer.
A cut must be offered by the dealer to the RHO (right hand opponent). A cut will consist of 1 cut (not multiple cuts to the deck).
Score will be kept by 1 person on each team using the provided score sheets. Opponents must confirm scores and initial sheets for each round.
Each player MUST play the hand they are dealt. (No redeal if a player is dealt "Ace No Face" or "All 9's and 10's").
If a team gets euchred, each player on that team must put a quarter in the euchre cup, unless a player goes alone, then that player puts in 2 quarters.
If any player does not follow suit and is identified as such, this is a Renege. Opponents receive 2 points, Loner hand receives 2 points OR 4 points if opponent reneges.
Before a card is thrown, the person calling Trump must SAY what Trump will be, and if applicable, announce they are playing Alone.

All players must RSVP through Facebook OR Meetup OR by contacting me, Rhonda Reiser, at 513-673-3158. If you do not RSVP, you will need to wait until all players with RSVP's are signed in. Players without an RSVP will be allowed to play if they fill a table.
