Kick off the week with Mind Your Mahjong at Aslin Beer Company – DC for Monday Night Mahj: Tiles, Taps & Touchdowns—a fall-inspired evening of American Mahjong, craft beer, friendly competition, and community.
Whether you're learning American Mahjong for the first time or joining us for Hosted Social Play, all skill levels are welcome. Come ready to play, meet new people, and enjoy a relaxed Monday night at the table.
Your Host
Mahjong Night is hosted by Michelle Byron, founder of Mind Your Mahjong, a certified American Mahjong instructor and Mahji Mentor through Oh My Mahjong. Michelle creates welcoming, social learning experiences that make American Mahjong approachable for beginners while giving experienced players a fun place to connect and play.

Rep Your Team! 🏈
Wear your favorite team jersey or team colors and receive an extra raffle entry. NFL, college, hometown favorite—or simply come as you are. Team gear is encouraged, never required.
When to Arrive
Check-In & Social Time begins at 6:15 PM, giving you time to grab a drink, order dinner, meet fellow players, and get settled.
Mahjong begins promptly at 6:30 PM and runs until 9:00 PM.
Experienced Players
Please bring your 2026 National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) card for Hosted Social Play. If you need one, current cards will be available for purchase separately at the event.
Registration
Advance registration is highly encouraged. Walk-ins are welcome if space allows, but seating cannot be guaranteed.
Come solo, bring your mahjong crew, or rep your favorite team.
There's always a seat at the table.
