Monday Night Commander - Cancer Society Fundraiser

King of Cards Limited, trading as "Your Local Game Shop Revolution" proudly continues to host our ongoing schedule of charity Magic the Gathering Commander events.
1 in 3 Kiwis will receive a Cancer diagnosis at some point during their lifetime. All funds raised through hosting these Commander Events will directly benefit The Cancer Society, on support of the work they do within the wider community.
Our Monday Night Commander events, have now permanently relocated to the event hall at the Cancer Society Domain Lodge, 1 Boyle Crescent, Grafton. King of Cards Limited pays for the weekly hireage fee for these facilities direct to The Cancer Society.
Each $10 player entry fee is paid direct to the Cancer Society.
We all get to play some Commander together each week, PLUS we also get to do some good in the world as well.
Prize Support? There will continue to be Promo Card prizes provided for all registered players, PLUS Ultimate Guard will be adding an additional random prize draw treat to each event. The Ultimate Guard prizes offered may include Playmats, Deck Boxes, Card Albums or other fun Ultimate Guard branded accessories.
Registration for these events will be via the Magic the Gathering Companion App.
The $10 player entry fee for the event will be payable at Domain Lodge Reception, upon arrival. Eftpos facilities are available at the venue. Simply collect your Eftpos receipt and present it to the event organizer before you take a seat within the venue.
Jared will usually operate as our event liaison each Monday, so if you have any questions please bring them to his attention.
I am 1 of 3, and although my own Cancer journey appears to be over for now 🤞 this cause remains very close to my heart.

We look forward to seeing lots of our favourite Pod-People for Commander each Monday, and we will have Pods starting from as early as 4pm! Get there nice and early, if you can, and enjoy the company of our kind, considerate and diverse local community.
PARKING DETAILS:
To use the on-site parking, drive up to the carpark entrance, press the button to speak to reception, who will then open the gate. Once inside, park in any of the non-reserved spaces on the ground floor.
PUBLIC HOLIDAYS:
We will not run events on Public Holidays, unless otherwise advertised.
