May 11 - Playing with Fire – (In honor of International Fire Fighters Day)

International Firefighters Day is an annual observance dedicated to honoring the courage, dedication, and sacrifices of firefighters worldwide. In 2026, it falls on May 4th, coinciding with the feast day of Saint Florian, the patron saint of firefighters, brewers, and chimney sweeps. The day was established in 1999 following a tragic bushfire in Linton, Australia, on December 2, 1998, which claimed the lives of five firefighters—Chris Evans, Stuart Davidson, Garry Vredeveldt, Matthew Armstrong, and Jason Thomas. Their sacrifice inspired the creation of a global day of recognition for firefighters

The Movie: Is about a crew of rugged fighters meet their match when attempting to rescue three rambunctious kids.

June 8 - June – Bones of Crows - ( In Honor of Indigenous History Month)

National Indigenous History Month takes place in June and is dedicated to recognizing the rich history, cultures, and contributions of Indigenous peoples across Canada. It provides an opportunity for Canadians to reflect on both historical and contemporary Indigenous communities, fostering understanding, respect, and appreciation for their impact on society.

The Movie: Bones of Crows is a psychological drama told through the eyes of Cree Matriarch Aline Spears, as she survives Canada's residential school system to continue her family's generational fight in the face of systemic starvation, racism, and sexual abuse. Bones of Crows unfolds over one hundred years with a cumulative force that propels us into the future.

July 13 - DC League of Super Pets
