Monday Mountaineers! Tillman's Ravine Exploration
About this Event
This week's hike is along Tillman's Ravine Natural Area.
The trail will wander through ridges and ravines along Tillman Brook. The ravine is a narrow red shale and sandstone gorge set among tall Hemlock trees. Today, we will be taking the time to explore and observe Tillman's natural area
Mileage: About 2 miles with room for exploring
Difficulty: Moderate
Start time: The group leaves the first Tillman's Parking lot at 9:00am. Please arrive with enough time to get situated before we depart.
DIRECTIONS
Do not rely on GPS. To Tillman's Ravine Parking Lot.
> From Route 206, turn onto Struble Rd.
> Follow Struble Rd. for approx. 3 miles.
> Turn left into the first Tillman's Ravine parking lot.
