Monday Madness is a Stand-Up Comedy Open Mic that happens every Monday night at Sphinx Club with a $100 Cash Prize for the "Best Set of the Week", Hosted by Edrick Jorge and Sam Price from River Valley Comics. Our Hosts will select the Top 2 sets every week and the Audience will decide our Winner for "Best Set of the Week" and the $100 Cash Prize!
Sign-Ups Close the Friday before the show and the list will be posted on the River Valley Comics Facebook Page and the Event Page for the open mic, so stay tuned! List caps at 15 and will be randomly selected from sign-ups. There will also be 4 reserved spots for "Wild Cards" (Bucket Pulls) the night of the show, so don't give up hope if you're not on the list! Come to the show for a chance at getting pulled and winning the whole thing!
Whether you're a First-Timer or a Seasoned Vet, we welcome all skill levels to come perform your best 5 minute stand-up set for a chance to win $100 Cash! Comedians must be at the show by 7:00 pm or we cannot guarantee your spot in the lineup. Comedians on the list who are signed up for the open mic do NOT have to pay the $5 Cover at the Door. Everyone is encouraged to please drink responsibly, do your best, have a good time, and enjoy a hilarious Monday Night!
