Come help tag and release Monarch Butterflies at Robert Moses State Park!
About this Event

The Monarch Watch Tagging Program is a large-scale community science project that was initiated in 1992 to help understand the dynamics of the monarch's spectacular fall migration through mark and recapture. We will be exploring different areas in Robert Moses State Park for Monarch butterflies to tag and release! Please be prepared to go into tall grass. Please Meet in Field 5. We may walk up to 2 miles, potentially on sand, dress appropriately.

Adults only program!

This is a free program. $10 parking fee is in effect at this hour. Space is limited! Reservations are required! Please make sure every adult in your party has a registered ticket. If you can no longer keep your reservation, please cancel so others may have the opportunity to attend. Please try to arrive 10 minutes early so we may start the program on time!
