Monarch Rising; A Morning Retreat
About this Event
A Private & Inclusive Morning Retreat Experience
Join us Sunday, June 21st from 9 AM – 1 PM at the beautiful Isla a la Cache Museum & Preserve in
Romeoville, Illinois, for an immersive retreat intentionally cultivated to help you reconnect with nature, yourself, and your creativity.
This private and inclusive experience is designed to create a safe, welcoming space where you can slow down, breathe deeply, and nourish your mind, body, and spirit in community and nature.
We begin the morning with a peaceful guided nature hike through scenic trails and a monarch butterfly habitat, allowing space to ground yourself and reconnect with the natural world around you.
From there, we gather for a deeply restorative sound healing journey led by Miach Healing Arts. Using the soothing vibrations of crystal singing bowls, gong, chimes, and a collection of magical instruments, Miach Healing Arts creates a unique soundscape designed to guide you into a dreamlike state of deep relaxation, restoration, and inner peace.
After our inward journey, we’ll reconvene to reflect, connect, and let our inner child come out to play through creative art therapy. Guests will have access to acrylic and watercolor paints for canvas painting, as well as stained glass vase painting. All art materials are included, and you’ll be able to take your creations home with you.
Throughout the retreat, enjoy our cozy beverage and refreshment bar featuring:
Cold brew, hot coffee, hot tea, and water station
Light bites including baked goods, fresh fruit, veggies, hummus, and dips
Gluten-free and dairy-free options available
This experience is an invitation to pause from the chaos of everyday life and reconnect with your creativity, your peace, and yourself.
