Join us in this Citizen Science opportunity to tag Monarch Butterflies to contribute to scientists' efforts to monitor dwindling Monarch Populations.
Boyd Big Tree Conservation Area is home to an abundance of Milkweed plants, which is the host plant for Monarch development, making it the perfect place to tag them before they begin their migratory journey. Come anytime between 12-2:30PM for an opportunity to learn and place your own tag!
All materials will be provided, it is advised to bring sunscreen, bug spray, drinking water, and comfortable walking shoes.
Meet: There will be a make-shift parking lot by the cemetery in Boyd Big Tree Preserve
