Learn how to curate a shadow box using a real, sustainably sourced Monarch Butterfly and preserved Milkweed pods & seeds with Domingo from RIP Repurposed on September 25th from 5:30 - 6:30 pm
Domingo will be teaching a Monarch Butterfly Pinning Workshop at The Nature Museum on Saturday, September 5th, 2026 10:00AM-12:00PM. These participants can select the "bring your own monarch butterfly" ticket option for the shadow box workshop on Sept 25th at The Insect Asylum and will receive a discount code for the shadow box making workshop as well.
Tickets for the workshop at The Insect Asylum come with all-day General Admission to the museum!
All specimens are sustainably sourced.
There are no refunds for this event.

Please Note: Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult guardian for all workshops. Observers are welcome and may purchase a guardian/observer ticket at the front desk or online.
