About this Event

hwa 화 dwells at the core of my practice, which translates to flower, fire, anger, or growth. I reimagine the context of hwa through intertwining personal narrative and my interest in historical artifacts. I am interested in exploring how intimate anecdotes and ancient translation tie into world-building, the disorientation of cultural hybridity, and evolving perception of compassion and the metaphysical.
