Mom’s Day Out: Pilates & Connection with Single Mom Strong LA

Take a well-deserved break and join Single Mom Strong LA for a Mom’s Day Out filled with movement, connection, and self-care.

We’ll kick things off with a dynamic, full-body Pilates class at The Studio (MDR) in Manhattan Beach—designed to leave you feeling strong, energized, and empowered. After class, treat yourself to a tasty drink from Shake Shack or Philz Coffee (just across the street)—on us!

This is more than just a workout—it’s a chance to connect with other single moms who understand your journey. Come move, laugh, and build community with women who get it.

We offer high-quality childcare during Mom’s Day Out events. Children must be pre-registered through Eventbrite and be at least 2 years old and potty trained. Childcare includes a snack. Space is limited and fills quickly—register early to reserve your spot.

Upon arrival, check in with a staff member and complete a Liability Release form for your child. Please take a moment to introduce your child to our staff and sign them into care.

Childcare will open at noon. If you are utilizing childcare, you must arrive no later than 12:15 PM at National University (5230 Pacific Concourse Drive, Ste 400 Los Angeles, CA 90045). There is free 20-minute drop-off parking in the “circie” of the National University lot; otherwise, parking is $10. We will leave National University promptly at 12:30, so give yourself time to bring your child into the building and get aquainted with our team.

• Please arrive on time to participate.
• Wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement, GRIP SOCKS (required) and water.
• Allow extra time for parking. Parking can be challenging.
• If you are utilizing childcare, you must arrive between 12 and 12:15 PM at National University (5230 Pacific Concourse Drive, Ste 400 Los Angeles, CA 90045) to check children into childcare. There is free 20-minute drop-off parking in the “circie” of the National University lot; otherwise, parking is $10.
• If you are not utilizing childcare, you can meet the group at The Studio (MDR) at 12:45 PM (1590 Rosecrans Ave. Suite J, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266)

Each month, Single Mom Strong offers opportunities to connect with other local single mothers. One of those opportunities is our Mom’s Night (or Day) Out event—your chance to "refill your cup" and build relationships with women who truly understand your journey. These events offer fun, shared experiences in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Licensed childcare is available during all Mom’s Night (or Day) Out events, but space is limited and fills quickly—register early to reserve your spot.
