About:
Sisters, Esther Haberstroh, Lisa LiGreci, and Annette O'Donohue, are very excited to announce the launch of our cookbook, Mom's Maltese Cookbook.We have written a modern, colorful cookbook compiled of traditional Maltese recipes adapted for American tastes and lifestyles.
This cookbook was inspired by our mother, Mary (Mirabitur) Buttigieg, who self published a popular Maltese cookbook in the 1980s. The book has been out of publication for decades.
It has long since been our wish to update and revise her cookbook due to an overwhelming demand from friends and family to do so. It is filled with family recipes handed down through generations. We've added some additional traditional Maltese dishes with colorful photos and easy to follow instructions.
Please join us for our meet & greet at the Book Launch Party.
Dinner and pastizzi will be available for purchase as well as a full bar.
The menu will consist of:
Meat or Cheese Pastizzi $2.00 ea. or 3 for $5.00
Fish & Chips $16.00
Baked Cod Dinner $16.00
Cheese Ravioli $16.00 for full dinner and $10.00 for 1/2 dinner
Hobz biz-zejt (a delicious Maltese tuna sandwich) $14.00
Doors open at 5:00 PM. Food service begins at 5:30 PM.
Come and meet the authors! All three sisters will be present for a meet & greet and book signing.
The book price is $30.00 + S&H if necessary.
