Moms Cooks

Moms Cooks is a free community cooking experience where we prepare a meaningful meal together while sharing stories, culture, and connection around food. Each session features a guest cook who curates a special menu, and together we prepare the meal while learning about the history, traditions, and personal stories behind the dishes and ingredients.
After cooking together, everyone sits down to enjoy the meal we created as a community.
The class blends hands-on learning, rich conversation, and the joy of gathering around food. Whether someone is an experienced home cook or simply curious to learn, the space is welcoming to everyone who enjoys food and connection. Despite the name, this event is not just for moms—it is open to anyone and everyone.
Our overall goal is to build a stronger community through learning about each other’s cultures, traditions, stories, and foods. We believe these shared experiences help enrich our community and deepen appreciation for the many cultures that make our community so vibrant.
