Come meet other new moms in your area and learn lots of new ways to play.

Sleeping and nursing babies are always welcome.

Clean and age-appropriate toys will be provided for your use during the class.

You may have heard that you are supposed to be doing “Tummy Time” with your baby. Why is this important? Because we put babies to sleep on their backs, they are not given as much opportunity to develop their neck and trunk muscles, which are very important for feeding and eventually rolling and crawling. Not all babies like Tummy Time and many babies only last a few minutes or seconds before expressing discomfort. But don’t worry! There are numerous ways to support your baby as they learn how to hold their head up and build neck strength. Come learn about different options!

As a former infant toy product developer with a master’s degree in child development, Tracey is extremely knowledgeable about all stages of development during the first year of life. During this class, she will teach you various ways to do Tummy Time and will share her favorite toys and teach you how to play with your baby, as you support them on their milestones.
