Momentum: CLUSTER Museum Fundraiser

CLUSTER Museum is nearing its one year anniversary and reflecting on where we've been and where we're going! CLUSTER is not a big institution. We're your neighbors. This year has been proof that when a community shows up for its artists, extraordinary things happen.

Admission to Momentum 2026 is free. All purchases directly support Cluster's campaign to bring even more contemporary art, programs and community gatherings to Ann Arbor.

The Evening's Events:

Art Sale : Dozens of original works $25-$400 from southeast Michigan artists and some magical surprises. Whether you're a first-time buyer or a seasoned collector, there's something here for you. It’s first come, first to take it home!

Book Wall : A wall of wrapped books to choose from. A mystery as to which you’ll get! Guaranteed beautiful writing by authors who’ve read at our CLUSTER author series. Find someone new to curl up with.

Monster Drawing/Writing Rally : Watch artists create in real time. The moment a piece is finished, it can be yours for $50 if you’re quick enough. Live and fast — this is art-making as exhibition.

We've met incredible people, witnessed awe-inspiring moments, and learned more than we expected. Our newsletter began as list of 50 artists and writers and has expanded to over 530 community members. Ann Arbor needs spaces that take risks on artists and unconventional ideas — a true third space where people gather, belong, and are surprised. Routinely, CLUSTER Author Readings bring together over 45 audience members and most return, introducing the space to friends and family.
