Join us for a public viewing and artists reception for Moments in Time, a collection of art by Vermonters with Dementia. The show is hanging in the Allard Square Community Room.The show features twenty-three pieces (23) of art, thirteen (13) of which were submitted by individual Vermonters. Works range from a carved birdhouse, to quilts, drawings, paintings and even a mobile. There are two collage pieces that were created as enrichment activities at Adult Day Programs and Residential Care Facilities. This show seeks to foster understanding, spark conversation, and bring attention to the far-reaching effects of Dementia on patients and their loved ones. Information on Alzheimer’s and other Dementia as well as local resources are also available.
