💜 The Moment of Truth: A Festival of Hope, Healing & Remembrance
Join Project Recovery Southern Indiana for the inaugural Moment of Truth, a FREE community event bringing together families, friends, advocates, local organizations, and neighbors for a day of connection, community, hope, and remembrance.
Throughout the event, attendees can enjoy family-friendly field day activities, food trucks, local vendors, community resources, and more—including the opportunity to cheer on eight local organizations as they go head-to-head in our Strength in Unity Tug-of-War Challenge!
At the heart of The Moment of Truth is remembrance. In partnership with Trail of Truth, a powerful Memorial Cemetery of painted tombstones will be displayed throughout the event, each honoring a Hoosier whose life was lost to substance use or overdose. Attendees are invited to walk through the cemetery, read their names and stories, reflect, and remember the lives behind the statistics.
As the sun begins to set, our community will gather together to conclude The Moment of Truth with a moving Candlelight Vigil & Reading of Names, honoring those we have lost and standing alongside the families and loved ones who continue to carry their memories forward.

Admission is FREE and open to the entire community. Bring your family, invite your friends, and spend the day with us as we celebrate hope, strengthen community, support recovery, and remember the Hoosier lives we have lost.
